Teriyaki Glazed Salmon Burgers with Quick Pickled Cucumbers

The Teriyaki Glazed Salmon Burgers are a tasty change from the usual burger. Thank you to the teriyaki sauce for giving the salmon patties a lot of flavor. The quick pickled cucumbers give them a nice crunch. It's the perfect mix of Asian and American flavors in a burger!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skinless and boneless
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Lettuce leaves and mayonnaise for serving

Instructions:

Put the salmon pieces in a food processor after cutting them up

Along with the salmon, put breadcrumbs, garlic that has been minced, green onions, an egg, salt, and pepper in a food processor

Mix it up and pulse it until it turns into a thick paste

Four burger patties should be made from the salmon mixture

Set a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and oil the grates a little

The salmon burgers should be grilled for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done all the way through and have a nice char

Get the cucumbers ready to pickle while the burgers are cooking

Put cucumber slices, rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a bowl

After mixing it well, wait about 10 minutes

For a minute or two, toast the burger buns on the grill until they get a little brown

To make the burgers, spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun, then add a lettuce leaf, a salmon patty, and a lot of quick pickled cucumbers on top

If you need to, use a toothpick to hold the top half of the bun in place

You can put extra pickled cucumbers on the side when you serve the Teriyaki Glazed Salmon Burgers

Have fun!
