This bliss ball mixture is a great base for vegan cheesecake because it is nutty, fruity, and smells great. When you mix pistachios, cardamom, and strawberries, you get a delicious and unique flavor.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup shelled pistachios
- 1 cup pitted dates
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
In a food processor, pulse the pistachios until finely chopped
Add the dates, cardamom, freeze-dried strawberries, and a pinch of salt to the food processor
Process until the mixture starts to come together and sticks when pressed between your fingers
Line the base of a cake tin with parchment paper
Press the bliss ball mixture into the base of the tin using the back of a spoon or your hands, ensuring it's evenly distributed
Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before adding the cheesecake filling
